Small Works Holiday Show

12 – 6 PM at the Light Room Salon Gallery,
2024 Wallace Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130.

Members and friends of the Light Room will be displaying and selling photographs at the Small Works Holiday Show. Take advantage of a chance to purchase a holiday gift of photographic art from a local artist.
The show will also feature original photographs from several Light Room artists who have generously donated their image for Holiday Cards for the Gift of Life program.

The Gift of Life Family House a program of Gift of Life Donor Program, provides a “home away from home,” for families of transplant patients traveling to Philadelphia to be with their loved ones during a difficult time.

This holiday card project emerged with the Light Room’s photographers joining together after one of their members, along with her family, spent many nights at a similar facility caring for a young loved one during a transplant. It is in this child’s honor that the cards were created.

During the Dec. 11 opening reception for the “Small Works Holiday Show,” the photo artists will raffle off their images. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Gift of Life Family House. The Holiday Card Package will also be available for purchase at that time.
