Unseen Color, Part II: East and West
By Stephen Perloff
MAY 4th – JUNE 16

Stephen Perloff: Green Building, 1978
Essentially, all the film-based work I ever exhibited before last year has been in black-and-white. Although I often shot color at the same time, somehow I never really learned to print color. Now digital technologies have allowed me to go back and scan my Kodachrome slides, which are still pristine, and make prints of this work.
Following up on last year’s show, this show, “Unseen Color, Part II: East and West,” features images made in the Far East in 1977 and on a cross-country trip to the American West in 1978. I hope you’ll join me at The Light Room and see what I’ve been up to.
